Family with children will love it
The staff were really cute on arrival, and the breakfast was delicious and fresh. We had a lovely view of the harbour from our spacious room (9), which added to the whole experience.
It wasn't exactly cheap, but for the quality, it was acceptable.

The location is excellent, right by the harbor, and they offer a variety of water sports, which is fun. The shared bathroom lacked cleanliness and had a lingering odor. the atmosphere was lively, and the staff were friendly.

missingWrote a review on 18 Augsea viewscozy barmaintenance issues
Solid sea views from some rooms add a nice touch to your stay. The bar area has a cozy vibe, perfect for unwinding after a long day, with a decent selection of drinks available.
The rooms show signs of neglect, with peeling paint and inadequate furnishings that make them feel worn. Bathrooms leave much to be desired. shared facilities not only had a terrible odor but also had missing essentials like soap and towels. Sound travels easily between rooms, which can seriously disrupt the peace during late hours. the breakfast took a frustratingly long time to arrive, and when it did, it didn't quite hit the mark temperature-wise. No lift to access higher floors means hauling your luggage up unnecessary flights of stairs, which adds to the inconvenience.

Exceptional Breakfast and Friendly Staff
I recently enjoyed a lovely stay with a fantastic breakfast that included freshly baked croissants and locally favored full Cornish breakfast options. The staff were exceptionally friendly and made our experience warm and welcoming, adding a personal touch to our visit. The location was also wonderful, with easy access to attractions and beautiful sea views from our room. the absence of a lift in this historical building might be inconvenient for some guests.

The salads were bangin', and at nearby Stunell's, you can find mouthwatering local seafood that'll make your taste buds dance. After chowing down, the friendly staff were ever so welcoming.
Unfortunately, the shared bathroom situation was a right mess with empty toiletries and a smashed toilet. To top it off, the walls were paper thin, and I could hear everything next door, so sleep was elusive.

The high ceilings and natural daylight in the King Room created a pleasant atmosphere, paired with lovely views of the harbor. Polite and professional staff ensured a welcoming experience, quickly addressing any concerns. the overall service felt inconsistent, and the facilities displayed signs of wear, ultimately impacting the stay. Potential remains, but attention to these areas is needed.
